Strawberry Frozen Yoghurt

I predict a new food obsession coming this summer…homemade froyo!!

This frozen yoghurt is SO quick and easy to make, and tastes like absolute heaven. It’s creamy, sweet, a perfect natural strawberry taste and really filling too thanks to being high in plant protein.

I used the Nuzest Clean Lean Protein in wild strawberry flavour for this recipe, which adds such a delicious strawberry taste and fluffiness. Plus it’s all naturally sweetened, doesn’t have that yuck stevia taste that I absolutely cannot stand, and is allergen and IBS friendly too!

The perfect sweet treat for a warm afternoon, or light and refreshing, yet super tasty dessert!

This recipe makes 1 serve.

Ingredients:

  • 100g frozen strawberries

  • 150g soy yoghurt (or other yoghurt of choice)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 heaped tbsp Nuzest Clean Lean Protein in wild strawberry flavour

  • Granola, for topping

Method:

  1. Pop your yoghurt in the freezer for an hour or so. You want it just starting to freeze, not rock solid!

  2. Once yoghurt is semi frozen, add all ingredients into your blender or food processor and blend until super smooth and creamy. You may need to add a splash of plant milk.

  3. Spoon into a bowl and top with crunchy granola.

Notes:

  • If you prefer a sweeter yoghurt, feel free to add 1 tbsp of maple syrup, rice malt syrup or agave nectar at step 2.
